Over the last year I have written approximately 135 posts, and two articles that were published directly to the main website Reproach of Men, and a couple of others that are yet to be published. The vast majority of these articles focus on doctrine and the teaching contained in the Scripture. Moreover, most of these articles exceed 1000 words in length, and quite a few are in excess of 2500 words. All of these are written with the hope and prayer that they lead every person who reads them to a greater understanding of the LORD God, the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, and this great salvation He has made available to all and bestowed upon all who believe the message of the gospel, repenting and trusting the shed blood of Christ.

Moreover, I teach several times per week, with every lesson developed out of the Scripture. Each and every message I preach is taken directly from the word of God, and the messages are developed the same way as the teaching and writing, all new, all different, all done by the leading of the LORD for that specific meeting. I do not use any other person’s material, nor commentaries — strictly the Scripture.

All this takes time and effort, and cannot be maintained without support. However, I don’t believe in begging for support, and I don’t believe in “dog and pony” shows. What I am asking is due consideration for the value of what you receive out of the articles. This does not mean I am asking for money. What I am asking for is support.

If you perceive the articles and posts to be valuable, and help you better understand the LORD God, and the Scripture, then there are several things you can do:

1. Let someone else know. Pass the articles on. After all, if you receive benefit and edification from them, and you believe they glorify the LORD God and the Lord Jesus Christ, and provide proper Scriptural answers; don’t you think someone else might receive benefit too? Pass it on.

2. Let your pastor know. Let the teachers of you Sunday School classes know. I already know of one gentleman who has used the materials in his studies, perhaps others can as well. Even if you disagree, you can use it to illustrate what you believe to be correct. (I only ask if you disagree with me to let me know so I can understand your points.)

3. Contact my home church and my pastor, Bro. James Mohler, and let him know the benefit you receive from the posts and articles. My pastor (and the church) can be contacted through the following:

I write and teach, and I am not going to stop. However, without support I will not be able to continue at anywhere near the pace I would like, and at the volume I perceive the LORD would have me do. There is much ground to cover, and I will not be able to cover it working full-time, preparing lessons and messages, and taking care of all the other duties life in modern America requires. Unfettered, I can write an article of 1200 words or better, 6 days a week, every week. Without support, that will dry up to one article or less per week.

Thus I ask of you to consider:

Is the workman worthy of his hire?

Thank you, and may the LORD bless.
